Learning Lunch: How to Win Friends and Influence People by Dale Carnegie
Once a month our Director, Charlie Reading, gives a presentation over lunch to the Efficient Portfolio team or to other business professionals about a book he has read that he has found useful or has inspired him in some way. He finds that presenting on a subject, not only helps him to retain the information he has learned, but also encourages others to read these books and gain valuable insights too.
In this learning lunch, Charlie discusses the principles and techniques he has picked up from Dale Carnegie’s book, ‘How to Win Friends and Influence People’.
He touches on a few points from the book including how language, positive reinforcement and being more mindful of how you interact with others can help you achieve more productive relationships.
