Charlie has looked after my retirement planning and personal insurance for the last 7 years. Working in an industry where the bulk of my employment is based on short term contracts, it’s very unlikely that I’ll ever receive a company pension or paid sick leave so it has proved very reassuring knowing that I am protected both later in life and also should the unthinkable happen.

Probably like a lot of people who work in ‘creative’ industries I have an inherent fear and ignorance of anything involving financial management and I have at best a fairly loose understanding of the tax implications involved, so the advice of Charlie and his team has been invaluable. They simplify the situation without being patronising and explain all the options to me fully before recommending what they believe is the best course of action. I also like the fact that the fees are fixed for the service being provided and so there is no suspicion that they are incentivised to try and sell me a particular product to improve their commission.

Finally, they are very nice people; my father passed away fairly recently and in the light of this I asked Charlie and his team to help my mum deal efficiently with the changes to her financial circumstances. Having clearly been misled in the past by ‘independent’ advisors on the high street, she was delighted with the service she received and she was most of all impressed by how lovely and patient the team were (Sainabou in particular) when explaining everything to her.

I wouldn’t hesitate in recommending Charlie and his team to anyone seeking sound, independent advice on their future financial planning from knowledgeable, nice people.
